Financial

The Financial Coach assists members with a variety of financial-related services, such as:

  • Budgeting
  • Obtaining credit report/score and repairing credit issues
  • Debt counseling
  • Checking and Savings Account Discussion
  • Tax assistance
  • Home/Vehicle ownership
  • Retirement and other savings options

All members are asked to create short-term and long-term financial goals.

Employment

The Employment Coach assists members with a variety of employment-related services, such as:

  • Job searching
  • Resume and Cover Letter writing
  • Applying for jobs with members
  • Job Coaching: Relating to retention, advancement and general
  • Searching for internships/volunteering opportunities
  • Career exploration
  • Referrals to various job training programs, computer basics classes, ABE, ESL, GED prep classes, community colleges, and other agencies as necessary

Income Support

  • Benefit screening
  • Assisting members in applying for benefits
  • Referring members to programs offering assistance with computers, transportation, educational needs, subsidized housing, utility assistance, and other providers as necessary
  • Assisting members in finding medical and dental insurance
