PPL Industries specializes in light assembly work and contracts with metro businesses to do labor intensive handwork and teach basic employment skills to adults with social and economic barriers to steady mainstream employment.
PPL Industries trainees receive a wage while learning basic employment skills. They create a steady work history and develop sound basic manufacturing business skill-sets, while taking advantage of 21 different classes designed expand their employability. Work is on an on-call basis and after 3 months of a strong work record, full-time employment is available.
