Community Building

Community organizers help to build a sense of community and cohesion among residents by making social and economic connections to their surrounding community and its resources.

  • Parenting classes and resource fairs on site at PPL complexes
  • Transportation to neighborhood job fairs
  • Organize workshops on computer basics and resume writing classes
  • Plan events such as picnics, potlucks, holiday celebrations and National Night Out events to bring neighbors together
