Direct Services

Service coordinators work one-to-one with individuals and families to address problems they encounter in their journey toward self-sufficiency.

Coaching: Resume preparation, interview skills and/or online job application.

Referrals: Connections and transportation, if needed, to free or low-cost medical or mental health services and pro bono legal help

Parenting: Help in enrolling children into Youth Success programs, assistance with family issues with children’s issues, chemically dependent family member or family violence.

Accessing immigrant services: Somali natives, in particular, receive help with translation and sensitive counsel about adapting to U.S. life and culture.

Basic Needs: Help in accessing food, clothing and furniture.
