The 37 units in the Selby TriStones have long been a part of PPL’s affordable housing portrfolio. Located in the Summit-University Neighborhood of St. Paul, these buildings were renovated and remodeled to make 13 suitable for families and individuals who have experienced long-term homelessness and who have a health diagnosis that requires support services.
Capital improvements included new roofs, windows, landscaping, flooring, kitchen, bath and energy efficiency improvements, and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing upgrades. Support services will be provided by Guild Incorporated.

| Partners: | Service Provider Guild, Inc. and Mental Health Resources, Inc. have been supplying case management services as sub-contractors of the Hearth Connection, working with single persons with mental illness and/or chemical dependency issues, with a goal of keeping them in housing through the means of a rental subsidy and supportive case management. For a portion of the population these service providers have been working with, rental subsidy in scattered site settings have not been sufficient to maintain housing. The case managers have proposed that more intensive connection with this difficult-to-house population would achieve more positive results. |
