PURPOSE
AND PEOPLE SERVED
:
Adair Campus Condominium
Association (ACCA) provides supportive affordable housing to adults
with cognitive disabilities with incomes at or below 30% of the
area median income. It is a unique combination of ownership and
rental housing options in a condominium structure. We're located
in Robbinsdale close to shopping, on the bus lines and only a few
blocks from the downtown Robbinsdale Metro Transit hub. |

 |
OWNERSHIP
AND RENTAL :
Half of our units are available
for ownership and half for rental. The housing model is meant for
adults with cognitive disabilities who are able to live independently
with limited supportive services. Ownership on behalf of a disabled
resident does not effect public financial benefits if the unit is
purchased and owned by a family member or a supplemental needs trust.
The rental units are owned by Project for Pride in Living ( PPL
) and are rent-subsidized by Metropolitan Council HRA. Persons who
are on the waiting list have first priority when a rental vacancy
occurs but all interested persons are encouraged to apply. Rented
and owned units are intermixed on the property and all residents
are treated with respect and dignity. |

 |
SUPPORTIVE
SERVICES :
The Adair Campus features
a Resource Center staffed four afternoons a week by a part time
social services professional. The Resource Center offers a variety
of services and opportunities for Adair Campus residents including
information, referrals, advocacy, recreation opportunities, and
individual assistance. Services and activities are voluntary for
residents. The Adair Campus employs an on-site Resident Manager
available to respond to after-hours and weekend emergencies. |

PROPERTY MANAGEMENT:
Project for Pride in Living (PPL), a MN nonprofit with nearly 35 years
of experience and expertise, provides property management services
for the Adair Campus.
