We match K-8 children from South Minneapolis neighborhoods with local college students living in two College House locations in Ventura Village and Phillips West.

College House Program Tutor/Mentors provide structured academic support, positive role modeling, and developmental asset building. Tutor/Mentors help children achieve academically, build self-esteem, and gain an appreciation for others while working on reading, writing and math skills with a caring adult.

Parents must apply on behalf of their child and make a commitment to being an active partner in the program for the academic year. The child's teacher must confirm that there is a need for academic tutoring.
