How To Apply For TTW

• Complete written application in person at the PPL Learning Center M – F, 8am – 4pm
• Attend Information Session--Info Sessions are conducted  every Monday promptly at 9:00 am. (No appointment required. Must have HS Diploma or GED)
• Pass Adult Basic Learning Exam (T.A.B.E.)—Must Sign Up In Advance. Test given every Wednesday promptly at 9 am. Areas of testing include reading, vocabulary, language, spelling, and math.
• Clerical and Banking applicants must take a typing, Ten Key and basic computer skills test (MS Word)—this test is offered every Wednesday from 10am to 11am and the 2nd/4th Friday of every month from 9am to noon.
• C.N.A. applicants must pass a brief Nursing Assistant test.
• If applicant passes the above tests, they must then pass an interview(s) with TTW staff.  Interview assesses attitude, life goals, availability, and past work experiences.
• To be offered a Trainee position in healthcare you must provide proof of or obtain up-to-date immunizations of the following before training--Hepatitis B, MMR, Mantoux within past 90 days and history of Chicken Pox.
