Summary
PPL operates several businesses and job training initiatives designed to help adults with barriers to successful employment. Our job training programs succeed in preparing individuals for positions that pay a good starting wage, provide medical benefits, and opportunities for promotion.

Programs are designed to meet a variety of needs: From longer-term training for individuals with multiple, serious barriers, to shorter-term training resulting in placement and retention. All participants are paid an hourly wage or a stipend, while honing their skills. Graduates go on to become valued employees and report high job placement retention rates.
