For the past month, 100s of PPL supporters on Facebook have been loyal visitors of the Clorox Clean-Up: Power a Brighter Future cause, voting daily to keep the agency a top contender to win $10,000 grant and a feature in People magazine.
With a deadline of January 17th, the competition is nearing its close.
PPL is only one of two Minnesota agencies among 50 that were selected from 5,000 national submissions.
Every cause is worthy, of course, but only five will earn the prize. Over the past several weeks PPL has jumped between 5th and 6th place on a daily basis by a margin of only a few votes.
