PPL’s work in affordable housing gains national recognition
Anishinabe Wakiagun (Our People’s Home), which PPL developed in Minneapolis in partnership with the American Indian Community Development Corporation, was one of three recipients of a Supportive Housing Champions award from the Corporation for Supportive Housing in New York. The award recognizes individuals and organizations that have demonstrated extraordinary leadership contributing to the growth and vitality of the supportive housing sector.
PPL has also been selected to be part of a Housing Partnership Network initiative, funded by the Citi Foundation, to develop new and innovative solutions to neighborhood stabilization challenges in metropolitan areas across the country. Best practices created by PPL will help to increase quality affordable housing for low-income families nationwide.
