Engage your employees or members in meaningful service to the Twin Cities community. Experience the satisfaction of working side-by-side to complete a needed project in a day or afternoon. Meet PPL participants and learn about their goals, achievements and challenges. Hands-on volunteer activities are available for groups of up to 50 at PPL’s affordable housing sites, community centers, and schools.
Sample projects:
• Painting, landscaping and repair at housing sites across the Twin Cities
• Playground installations and mural painting at selected housing locations
• Community room clean-ups
• Family Nights, National Night Out, Sports Night, and other community events
Drives and Donations:
• Support student success: Collect school supplies in August for Partnership Academy and PPL families.
• Boost youth literacy: Hold a book drive for Homework ‘n Hoops.
• Keep kids warm: Hold a “winter wear” drive in November to benefit participants in need of warm coats, mittens and hats.
• Make a child’s day: Donate, assemble, and decorate “Birthday Bags” for Youth Development participants.
We’ll help you develop a volunteer project that matches your desire
to serve with the needs of our organization. Projects include an orientation
to PPL’s mission, programs, and community impact.
