To schedule a group service project (current needs: landscaping, painting, cleaning, events, food/coat/cleaning product drives), contact Julie Huck, PPL Volunteer Program Manager, at (612) 455-5111 or fill out the form below.
PPL provides the opportunity for students to learn about housing development, public policy, social services, education, employment training, and youth programs through internships with direct service to participants or through projects with a program or department. Internships are unpaid and range from 8-20 hours weekly.
AmeriCorps, the domestic Peace Corps, engages more than 50,000 Americans in intensive, results-driven service each year, teaching children to read, training volunteers, making neighborhoods safer, coordinating afterschool programs, building affordable homes, and much more. Most AmeriCorps members are selected by and serve with community organizations like PPL.
