Start your administrative career through PPL’s 7-week Office Specialist Pathway! Polish your résumé, interviewing, and clerical skills in a small classroom setting, while engaging in trainings and networking opportunities to prepare for Office Specialist and Administrative Assistant roles.

The Aon Apprenticeship Program is a 2-year program that prepares participants for employment at Aon while earning an Associate degree. This program is a collaboration between Aon, Normandale Community College, and Project for Pride in Living. Apprentices engage in coursework at Normandale Community College to earn an Associate of Science (AAS) Marketing and Management with Human Resource Management Certificate while simultaneously working at Aon.

The Phlebotomy training program is designed to prepare you for an in-demand position finding rewarding work at both hospitals and clinics! During this 10-week training, participants have the opportunity to refine your transferrable skills, network with nearby employers, and gain clinical experience to prepare you in roles of Phlebotomist or Laboratory Technician.

Classes at PPL Career Center, Minneapolis College and North Hennepin Community College
Start your career in maintenance and facilities management with the Building Operations Technician training program! This 10-month training program prepares you for Maintenance Technician roles through curriculum with PPL and Minneapolis College. Gain hands-on experience in plumbing, electricity, HVAC, and more with the opportunity to obtain your Special Boilers License and OSHA 30. Participate in a paid, 2-week job shadow to prepare yourself for employment following the program.
