Success
A program of PPL
Ready for Success serves individuals with lower incomes by providing professional clothing and accessories needed to secure employment with confidence.
Job seekers receive an individual appointment with a personal shopper to find professional attire and accessories that fit their personal preferences. Beyond providing apparel, clients are equipped with confidence that they carry into an interview and beyond.

Each year, Ready for Success empowers men and women to gain economic stability through employment and restore pride in themselves.
Appointments must be canceled at least 24-hours in advance; if not, the referring agency will be charged a fee.

Donations are greatly appreciated and help us purchase high demand items not frequently donated.
Professional clothing for all genders is accepted in clean, like-new condition on hangers, free of pet hair, and not in need of repairs.
For fashion appropriateness, we cannot accept clothing more than 5 years old. Thank you for understanding.
All clothing drives/collections must be pre-arranged with Ready for Success.

Volunteers are essential to Ready for Success!
Roles include Personal Shoppers, Clothing Intake and Care, Site Merchandising, Drive Organizer and more.
What to Expect
- A fun and meaningful experience that will fit into your personal schedule
- An orientation, including a site tour
- An opportunity to shadow another volunteer
- Ready for Success newsletter, sign-up schedules, and news about upcoming events
Volunteer Expectations
- Treat clients with dignity, respect, and confidentiality
- Commit to one-year involvement and sign up for at least one shirt per month
- A business or business casual appearance when working with clients
- Notify staff at least 24-hours in advance if you need to change your scheduled shift
