Madalynn Gerold serves as the Director of Employer Development at PPL, where she has worked to strengthen employer partnerships since joining the organization in May 2022. In her role, she develops strategic connections that align employer needs with PPL’s mission - whether through hiring program graduates and job seekers, hosting on‑the‑job training opportunities, or investing in programs that build a more inclusive and resilient regional talent pipeline.
In 2025, Madalynn launched a new PPL training pathway for case managers, expanding professional development across the organization and enhancing the quality of support provided to the individuals and families PPL serves.
Madalynn began her workforce development career in 2012 at AHRC NYC, where she focused on expanding employment opportunities for people with disabilities. After earning her master’s degree in public administration, she continued advancing disability workforce initiatives at Goodwill-Easter Seals in St. Paul. Her commitment to person‑centered employment practices earned her AHRC NYC’s Person-Centered Excellence Award.
Madalynn grew up in the west metro and remains active in local development efforts outside of her work at PPL. She also teaches Motivational Interviewing, a counseling methodology that empowers individuals to build internal motivation and commit to meaningful behavioral change by exploring and resolving ambivalence.
