MINNEAPOLIS, MN - Project for Pride in Living (PPL) is pleased to welcome Kelley Zarwell as its new Senior Director of Property Management. Zarwell brings decades of experience in affordable, workforce, and market rate housing. She has spent her career helping teams improve operations, strengthen buildings and communities, and support residents.

Most recently, Zarwell served as Director of Property Management Operations at CommonBond Communities, where she led operations for a 120 properties, more than 7,000-unit portfolio spanning diverse housing types and led major improvements in recertification timeliness and unit readiness. Her career also includes nearly 14 years in leadership roles at Bigos Management and additional experience at Sherman Associates, Laramar Group, and Westwood Residential.

“I am honored to join PPL at such a critical moment for housing in our community,” said Zarwell. “Access to secure, dignified, affordable housing is foundational to everything else in life. I’m excited to support PPL’s work and help ensure residents have the stability and respect they deserve.”

In her role at PPL, Zarwell will guide operational strategy, compliance, and staff leadership across the organization’s property management portfolio - work that is central to creating and maintaining stable housing options for families and individuals amid increasing affordability challenges across the Twin Cities.

“Kelley brings the ideal blend of strategic vision, operational rigor, and values-based leadership,” said Rashida Jackson, PPL’s VP of Housing Operations. “Her track record of transforming operations, strengthening teams, and improving outcomes for residents will be instrumental as PPL continues expanding its housing footprint and deepening its community impact.”

Zarwell holds a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Texas Tech University.
