What jobs will I be prepared for?
The Property Manager Pathway prepares participants for roles within the affordable housing sector, such as Assistant Property Manager and Compliance Specialist.
What skills and certifications will I obtain?
Participants will develop the knowledge and technical skills needed to support compliance operations in multifamily housing environments. This includes how to execute leasing processes, administering move-ins and waiting lists, managing building income and expenses, and accurately documenting household data. PPL also teaches transferable skills to participants, such as resume writing, effective communication, and more.
What other opportunities are included?
Participants will engage in a 4-week long, paid work experience during the Pathway.
Qualifications for Participation
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 18 years of age
- Legal to work in the U.S.
- 1 year customer service experience
- Driver's license required
- Proficient math, reading, and digital literacy skills
