Community Living Space
As the co-developer of this project, Project for Pride in Living (PPL) is honored to partner with Simpson Housing Services to bring 42 efficiency-style permanent supportive housing apartments to the third and fourth floors of the Simpson Shelter building. This innovative model of permanent supportive housing built directly above emergency shelter and services reflects a shared belief that addressing homelessness requires a full spectrum of support, from immediate safety to long-term stability.
By pairing emergency shelter and on-site services on the lower floors with permanent, service-enriched housing above, both provided by Simpson Housing Services, this partnership creates a seamless pathway for individuals and families working toward housing security. PPL’s apartments will serve new residents exiting homelessness, referred through the Coordinated Entry system, ensuring that those with the highest needs have access to stable housing and the supportive services essential to thrive.
